Toll Road photo enforcement laws vary significantly from state to state; some authorize enforcement statewide. Most E-Z Pass toll road tickets carry a fine of $25 to $50 administration plus the toll(s) which may have been missed. In order to avoid tickets in the future it is recommended that you purchase an E-Z Pass transponder. E‑ZPass is an automated toll road collection system used on tolled roads, bridges, and tunnels in the northeastern United States.
